A client reference for technical standby, cue communication, programme changes, extensions and dismantling during the event.
Technical Crew & Operators
Assigned crew members operate the confirmed production scope and prepare their systems for the programme. Different systems may have dedicated audio, lighting, video, gimmick or effect operators.
Technical Standby
Standby means the relevant system and operator are ready for the confirmed operating period. It should not be confused with setup time, rehearsal or additional operating hours.
Event Cue & Communication
Establish a clear communication line between the organiser, emcee, show caller or stage manager and the relevant technical operators. Clear cue communication is especially important for launches and timed effects.
Programme Changes
Inform the technical team as early as possible when the running order changes. A simple programme change may affect music playback, microphones, video, lighting, camera positions or launching cues.
Programme Delay
When the programme runs later than planned, the technical operating period may also extend. Inform the operator or project coordinator so the revised timing can be understood.
Overtime & Extension
If the event continues beyond the confirmed operating period, additional operating time may apply according to the quotation. Planning realistic programme timings helps avoid unexpected extensions.
Additional On-Site Requests
Requests for extra equipment, manpower, operating time or technical changes during the event depend on what is physically available at the venue and whether the request can be implemented safely and practically.
Working With the Emcee or Show Caller
The emcee or show caller can become the central programme communication point for cues. Sharing the final running order and cue notes helps technical operators anticipate upcoming moments.
Dismantling
Dismantling normally begins after the confirmed operating scope is completed and the venue allows load-out. Inform CHROME in advance when the venue has a strict dismantling or loading deadline.
After the Event
Once operation is complete, equipment is checked, packed and removed according to venue access. Any agreed follow-up documentation, additional confirmed charges or project-specific completion items can then be finalised.
