CHROME XP Documentation
A practical starting point for clients planning an event with CHROME Event Empire. This section explains how to prepare an enquiry, what information CHROME needs, how quotations work and what each booking status means.
How CHROME XP Documentation Works
CHROME XP Documentation is a client knowledge base for understanding event production, preparation and execution. Use it to learn how common event systems work and what information is normally required before requesting a quotation.
Documentation provides general guidance. The final scope, equipment, pricing, schedule and project-specific requirements are stated in the quotation prepared for your event.
A useful quotation begins with clear event information. Clients can submit an RFQ with the event date, venue, estimated audience size, programme time and required services. If the exact technical specification is not known, describe the event objective and CHROME can propose a suitable production scope.
Information Required for RFQ
Prepare the event date, venue or location, estimated number of guests, event type, programme start and end time, preferred setup time, rehearsal requirement and services required. For technical projects, venue dimensions, stage size, floor plan, photos or venue technical information may also be useful.
Understanding Your Quotation
A CHROME quotation is prepared around the information available at the time of enquiry. It may include several options so the client can compare production levels, equipment scope or execution approaches. Read the project scope, setup schedule, operating duration, optional add-ons, payment terms and project notes together rather than comparing equipment quantity alone.
Booking Process
The normal journey is Enquiry → Quotation → Client Review → Confirmation → Preparation → Setup & Testing → Event Operation → Dismantling. Some projects may include a temporary soft-lock while internal approval or payment is being completed.
Booking Status & Availability
Enquiry means CHROME has received the request. Quotation means a proposed scope has been issued. Soft-Lock means selected resources are temporarily held where offered, but the booking is not yet confirmed. Confirmed means the booking requirement stated in the quotation has been fulfilled. Availability always considers equipment, crew, transport and supporting resources together.
